Layton Castle

Wouldn't be really cool if one of the rooms in your house was really a secret hideout and the entrance to your room was actually a trap door? You can find two trap doors and a secret hideout in Lynn Wardley's house. Lynn's house is really a castle built on a mountain at the edge of Layton with big rooms that are perfect for parties, many special features, a huge lawn area, and various security to keep all that expensive stuff safe. Talk about awesome!
Gary Willey built Layton Castle in the year of 1975 for the woman he was married to at the time. It took him five long years to build the whole thing. Its outer appearance is quite a bit like the unique design of Airport Radison which was also designed by Gary Willey.
Currently, Lynn Wardley and his wife Cookie own the castle. Sometimes their son Bernie helps with the responsibility of the 4 million-dollar house, too. It sure isn't the easiest thing in the world to take care of everything in a huge castle all on your own.
The Wardley castle has many grand and attention-catching rooms. There are five large bedrooms, two pools and two hot tubs (one of each inside and outside), a tennis court, a basketball court and lots, lots more! It takes quite a few rooms to fill up a house with so many different levels!
There are many varied and interesting features inside and outside of the castle. There are a total of ten fireplaces, six waterfalls, and all the carpets are plushy soft, so you can see every one of your footprints when you walk through a room. But those aren't the only features…
The castle also has a couple things in it that just about every dreamer has wished for at some time in his life. On one of the levels there are two hidden trapdoors! One trapdoor leads to a bedroom and the other takes you to a secret hideout! Now that is extremely incredible!
Another incredible thing is the gardening that they do there. They have a full-time gardener who spends 8-10 hours working every day to keep the lawn looking nice and tidy. I'd say that's too many hours of gardening if you asked me!
Think about all the fun parties you could have! It's the perfect house for holding big company meetings or pulling off great holiday parties. For instance, on Halloween they usually hand out candy bars and serve a holiday witch's brew to the trick-or-treaters. Or, imagine how exciting a New Year's party would be at that place!
Now, with all that valuable stuff, you've just got to have security. They have a security system installed there, and they have a few other confidential security measures. Plus, if all else fails, they all know how to use the guns that they have kept inside their house.
Owning a castle has all of its various advantages and disadvantages. For instance, it's pretty cool to have such a mysterious and showy house. Besides, who wouldn't like all that elbow space! On the other hand, maintenance takes up quite a lot of time and tons of money. But overall, I think the pros outnumber the cons by far.
So, what do you think? Would you like to have really big parties in a castle with hideouts, trapdoors, pools, and plushy carpets? Maybe you would prefer not having the upkeep, maintenance, and large expenses. Whatever you think, you've still got to admit; the Layton Castle has "one of a kind" authenticity.
